About us Bitget US is building a trusted, compliant, and scalable digital-asset platform for U.S. customers. The U.S. business includes regulated financial-services activities and entities, including a Futures Commission Merchant (“FCM”) and Broker-Dealer (“BD”), as applicable. We are seeking a hands-on and highly experienced Head of Finance to lead the Finance Department across the Company’s U.S. regulated businesses. This individual will be responsible for regulatory finance and reporting, capital and liquidity oversight, customer funds and asset-protection controls, treasury, accounting operations, financial close, audit and tax coordination. This role requires deep technical expertise in the financial-responsibility requirements applicable to FCMs and/or BDs, as well as strong controllership, treasury, and people-leadership capabilities. What you'll do Financial Operation Oversight: • Manage the end-to-end accounting processes, including month end close, accounts payable, account reconciliations and accruals, and overall maintenance of the firm’s accounting records in compliance with controls and internal policies. • Ensure the firm’s daily and monthly reporting and regulatory requirements are met, such as Daily Segregation Report, Net Capital Calculation and monthly 1FR/FOCUS reports. • Monitor cash flow, capital adequacy, segregation levels and liquidity to minimize potential adverse financial risks. • Oversee all treasury related functions of the firm including facilitating client cash and securities movements, foreign exchange conversions and US Treasury purchases. Finance & Business Leadership: • Partner with leadership in planning, growth initiatives, pricing, investment decisions, and profitability improvement. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, clearing firms, banking partners, and other key external counterparties. • Lead the coordination of annual audits, statutory financial statements, tax filings, and parent company reporting requirements with external auditors and accounting service providers. • Work closely with operations, compliance, technology, sales, and other departments to understand business drivers and support better decision-making. What you'll need Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. • 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience. • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. • Proven ability to influence executive decision-making. • Knowledge of FCM/BD capital requirements, customer segregation, and regulatory reporting. Preferred Qualifications • CPA, CMA, CFA, CTP, or comparable qualification. • Experience in futures, brokerage, financial services, fintech, or capital markets. • Experience in digital assets, crypto derivatives, digital-asset custody, stablecoins, payments, or regulated fintech.
