Let’s go!</p> <p> </p></div><p> </p> <h4><strong>Your mission</strong></h4> <p>As Legal Counsel, Data Protection, you will be part of the Bitpanda Legal team and work closely with the Group Data Protection Officer on all privacy and data protection matters arising within the Bitpanda Group. You will support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our data protection framework, advising business and product teams across our European and international operations to ensure that handling of personal data is compliant, pragmatic and built into how we work.</p> <h4><strong>Who you are</strong></h4> <ul> <li>A university degree in law from a European university, ideally with a focus on data protection, IT/IP law and/or regulatory law</li> <li>A minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data protection / privacy law, gained in an international law firm, a regulatory authority, or as in-house counsel in an international company (a completed bar exam and/or a privacy certification such as CIPP/E is an advantage)</li> <li>Solid working knowledge of the GDPR and related European and national data protection laws; familiarity with the regulatory environment for financial services and crypto-assets is a plus</li> <li>Team player with quick comprehension, a solution-oriented and precise way of working, and the ability to work reliably both independently and in a team</li> <li>Fluency in English is required; German B2 level or above</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Provide ongoing data protection advice across the Bitpanda Group, supporting business, product and engineering teams on day-to-day privacy questions and new initiatives</li> <li>Support the Group Data Protection Officer in maintaining and developing the company's data protection management system, policies and internal guidelines</li> <li>Draft, review and negotiate data processing agreements, data transfer mechanisms, privacy notices and other data protection documentation</li> <li>Help manage data subject requests, personal data breaches and enquiries from supervisory authorities</li> <li>Monitor regulatory developments in data protection and assess their impact on the Bitpanda Group, and deliver internal training and awareness initiatives</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><h4><strong>What’s in it for you</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-prosemirror-content-type="node" data-prosemirror-node-name="paragraph" data-prosemirror-node-block="true" data-pm-slice="0 0 []"><strong data-prosemirror-content-type="mark" data-prosemirror-mark-name="strong">Flexibility to work where you thrive</strong> – Enjoy the freedom of our Hybrid working model, combining onsite collaboration and remote work, with an additional 25 days per year to work from a city o
